اَلرَّحْمٰنُۙ
ar-raḥmān
AR-RAHMAN
عَلَّمَ الْقُرْاٰنَۗ
'allamal-qur`ān
Bestowed the Qur´an
خَلَقَ الْاِنْسَانَۙ
khalaqal-insān
Created man
عَلَّمَهُ الْبَيَانَ
'allamahul-bayān
And taught him to express clearly.
اَلشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍۙ
asy-syamsu wal-qamaru biḥusbān
The sun and moon revolve to a computation;
وَّالنَّجْمُ وَالشَّجَرُ يَسْجُدَانِ
wan-najmu wasy-syajaru yasjudān
And the grasses and the trees bow (to Him) in adoration.
وَالسَّمَاۤءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ الْمِيْزَانَۙ
was-samā`a rafa'ahā wa waḍa'al-mīzān
He raised the sky and set the Balance
اَلَّا تَطْغَوْا فِى الْمِيْزَانِ
allā taṭgau fil-mīzān
So that none may err against the scales
وَاَقِيْمُوا الْوَزْنَ بِالْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا الْمِيْزَانَ
wa aqīmul-wazna bil-qisṭi wa lā tukhsirul-mīzān
And observe correct measure weigh with justice and not cheat the balance.
وَالْاَرْضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلْاَنَامِۙ
wal-arḍa waḍa'ahā lil-anām
He positioned the earth for all the creatures:
فِيْهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَّالنَّخْلُ ذَاتُ الْاَكْمَامِۖ
fīhā fākihatuw wan-nakhlu żātul-akmām
There are fruits of all kinds on it and date-palms with their clusters sheathed
وَالْحَبُّ ذُو الْعَصْفِ وَالرَّيْحَانُۚ
wal-ḥabbu żul-'aṣfi war-raiḥān
Grain with husk and fragrant grasses.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny?
خَلَقَ الْاِنْسَانَ مِنْ صَلْصَالٍ كَالْفَخَّارِ
khalaqal-insāna min ṣalṣāling kal-fakhkhār
He created man of fermented clay dried tinkling hard like earthen ware
وَخَلَقَ الْجَاۤنَّ مِنْ مَّارِجٍ مِّنْ نَّارٍۚ
wa khalaqal-jānna mim mārijim min nār
And created jinns from the white-hot flame of fire.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?
رَبُّ الْمَشْرِقَيْنِ وَرَبُّ الْمَغْرِبَيْنِۚ
rabbul-masyriqaini wa rabbul-magribaīn
Lord of the two Easts Lord of the two Wests.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny?
مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيٰنِۙ
marajal-baḥraini yaltaqiyān
He has set two seas in motion that flow side by side together
بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌ لَّا يَبْغِيٰنِۚ
bainahumā barzakhul lā yabgiyān
With an interstice between them which they cannot cross.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? --
يَخْرُجُ مِنْهُمَا اللُّؤْلُؤُ وَالْمَرْجَانُۚ
yakhruju min-humal-lu`lu`u wal-marjān
Out of them come pearls and coral.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?
وَلَهُ الْجَوَارِ الْمُنْشَاٰتُ فِى الْبَحْرِ كَالْاَعْلَامِۚ
wa lahul-jawāril-munsya`ātu fil-baḥri kal-a'lām
His are the high-sailed vessels in deep ocean like the mountains.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny?
كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍۖ
kullu man 'alaihā fān
All that is on the earth is passing
وَّيَبْقٰى وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الْجَلٰلِ وَالْاِكْرَامِۚ
wa yabqā waj-hu rabbika żul-jalāli wal-ikrām
But abiding is the glory of your Lord full of majesty and beneficence.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?
يَسْـَٔلُهٗ مَنْ فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ هُوَ فِيْ شَأْنٍۚ
yas`aluhụ man fis-samāwāti wal-arḍ, kulla yaumin huwa fī sya`n
All those there are in the heavens and the earth turn to Him with solicitation intent on His purpose all the time.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?
سَنَفْرُغُ لَكُمْ اَيُّهَ الثَّقَلٰنِۚ
sanafrugu lakum ayyuhaṡ-ṡaqalān
We shall soon be free to turn to you O weary caravans
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?
يٰمَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْاِنْسِ اِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ اَنْ تَنْفُذُوْا مِنْ اَقْطَارِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ فَانْفُذُوْاۗ لَا تَنْفُذُوْنَ اِلَّا بِسُلْطٰنٍۚ
yā ma'syaral-jinni wal-insi inistaṭa'tum an tanfużụ min aqṭāris-samāwāti wal-arḍi fanfużụ, lā tanfużụna illā bisulṭān
O society of jinns and men cross the bounds of the heavens and the earth if you have the ability then pass beyond them; but you cannot unless you acquire the law.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?
يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَاظٌ مِّنْ نَّارٍۙ وَّنُحَاسٌ فَلَا تَنْتَصِرَانِۚ
yursalu 'alaikumā syuwāẓum min nāriw wa nuḥāsun fa lā tantaṣirān
Let loose at you will be smokeless flames of fire so that you will not be able to defend yourselves.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny?
فَاِذَا انْشَقَّتِ السَّمَاۤءُ فَكَانَتْ وَرْدَةً كَالدِّهَانِۚ
fa iżansyaqqatis-samā`u fa kānat wardatang kad-dihān
When the sky will split asunder and turn rosy like the dregs of annointing oil
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny?
فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يُسْـَٔلُ عَنْ ذَنْۢبِهٖٓ اِنْسٌ وَّلَا جَاۤنٌّۚ
fa yauma`iżil lā yus`alu 'an żambihī insuw wa lā jānn
Neither man nor jinn will be questioned on that day about his sin.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?
يُعْرَفُ الْمُجْرِمُوْنَ بِسِيْمٰهُمْ فَيُؤْخَذُ بِالنَّوَاصِيْ وَالْاَقْدَامِۚ
yu'raful-mujrimụna bisīmāhum fa yu`khażu bin-nawāṣī wal-aqdām
The sinners will be recognised by their marks and seized by the forelock and their feet.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny?
هٰذِهٖ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِيْ يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا الْمُجْرِمُوْنَۘ
hāżihī jahannamullatī yukażżibu bihal-mujrimụn
This is Hell the sinners called a lie.
يَطُوْفُوْنَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ حَمِيْمٍ اٰنٍۚ
yaṭụfụna bainahā wa baina ḥamīmin ān
They will go round and around between it and boiling water.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny?
وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهٖ جَنَّتٰنِۚ
wa liman khāfa maqāma rabbihī jannatān
But for him who lived in awe of the sublimity of his Lord there will be two gardens --
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۙ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? --
ذَوَاتَآ اَفْنَانٍۚ
żawātā afnān
Full of overhanging branches --
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? --
فِيْهِمَا عَيْنٰنِ تَجْرِيٰنِۚ
fīhimā 'aināni tajriyān
With two springs of water flowing through them both. --
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny?
فِيْهِمَا مِنْ كُلِّ فَاكِهَةٍ زَوْجٰنِۚ
fīhimā ming kulli fākihatin zaujān
In both of them there will be every kind of fruits in pairs. --
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? --
مُتَّكِـِٕيْنَ عَلٰى فُرُشٍۢ بَطَاۤىِٕنُهَا مِنْ اِسْتَبْرَقٍۗ وَجَنَا الْجَنَّتَيْنِ دَانٍۚ
muttaki`īna 'alā furusyim baṭā`inuhā min istabraq, wa janal-jannataini dān
Reclining there on carpets lined with brocade fruits of the garden hanging low within reach.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny?
فِيْهِنَّ قٰصِرٰتُ الطَّرْفِۙ لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ اِنْسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَاۤنٌّۚ
fīhinna qāṣirātuṭ-ṭarfi lam yaṭmiṡ-hunna insung qablahum wa lā jānn
In them maidens with averted glances undeflowered by man or by jinn before them --
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? --
كَاَنَّهُنَّ الْيَاقُوْتُ وَالْمَرْجَانُۚ
ka`annahunnal-yāqụtu wal-marjān
As though rubies and pearls.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny?
هَلْ جَزَاۤءُ الْاِحْسَانِ اِلَّا الْاِحْسَانُۚ
hal jazā`ul-iḥsāni illal-iḥsān
Should the reward of goodness be aught else but goodness? --
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? --
وَمِنْ دُوْنِهِمَا جَنَّتٰنِۚ
wa min dụnihimā jannatān
And besides these two other gardens --
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۙ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? --
مُدْهَاۤمَّتٰنِۚ
mud-hāmmatān
Of darkest verdant green --
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? --
فِيْهِمَا عَيْنٰنِ نَضَّاخَتٰنِۚ
fīhimā 'aināni naḍḍākhatān
With two fountains gushing constantly --
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? --
فِيْهِمَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَّنَخْلٌ وَّرُمَّانٌۚ
fīhimā fākihatuw wa nakhluw wa rummān
With fruits in them and dates and pomegranates --
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? --
فِيْهِنَّ خَيْرٰتٌ حِسَانٌۚ
fīhinna khairātun ḥisān
In them good and comely maidens --
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? --
حُوْرٌ مَّقْصُوْرٰتٌ فِى الْخِيَامِۚ
ḥụrum maqṣụrātun fil-khiyām
Houris cloistered in pavilions --
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? --
لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ اِنْسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَاۤنٌّۚ
lam yaṭmiṡ-hunna insung qablahum wa lā jānn
Undeflowered by man or by jinn before them --
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? --
مُتَّكِـِٕيْنَ عَلٰى رَفْرَفٍ خُضْرٍ وَّعَبْقَرِيٍّ حِسَانٍۚ
muttaki`īna 'alā rafrafin khuḍriw wa 'abqariyyin ḥisān
Reclining on green cushions and rich carpets excellent.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ
fa bi`ayyi ālā`i rabbikumā tukażżibān
How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?
تَبٰرَكَ اسْمُ رَبِّكَ ذِى الْجَلٰلِ وَالْاِكْرَامِ
tabārakasmu rabbika żil-jalāli wal-ikrām
Blessed be the name of your Lord full of majesty and beneficience.
